Disney Plans Lottery Show: Walt Disney Co. said it plans to team with an association of 33 state lotteries to launch a syndicated daily TV game show. Disney’s Buena Vista TV unit and Lottery Innovations Corp. plan a fall 1992 premiere. The state lotteries would combine money into a single cash pool that allows for prizes in the millions of dollars. Viewers in lottery states would be able to participate directly in the game show, but residents of non-lottery states would only be permitted to take part in tie-in promotions.
