Mickey Shuler and Joe Morris, cut by NFL teams last year in training camp, filed a suit against the NFL that eventually could force teams to pay many players cut in training camp 10% of their annual salaries. The suit, filed in State Supreme Court in New York, asks for punitive damages of $5 million for Shuler, cut by the New York Jets in August, and Morris, released by the New York Giants before the season.
