Teitel to Play at Northern Arizona

Jason Teitel, a tight end at Glendale College, has accepted a football scholarship from Northern Arizona, Glendale Coach John Cicuto said Friday.
Teitel (6-foot-1, 220 pounds) attended Burroughs High and played his freshman season at Pierce. He transferred to Glendale but suffered a fractured left ankle after starting the first two games of the 1989 season.
He opened the 1990 season as Glendale’s starting tight end but suffered a fractured right ankle after the third game, again missing the remainder of the season, Cicuto said.
