IN BRIEF : Stewart and Wagner to Co-Host Marathon

Actors Jimmy Stewart and Robert Wagner will co-host the 10th Jimmy Stewart Relay Marathon on Sunday( at 8 a.m. in Griffith Park.
About 5,000 runners are expected to compete in the event, which begins and ends at the merry-go-round. Proceeds go to the Child Study Center of St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica.
There also will be a vintage airplane flyover, a live music program, clowns, jugglers, magicians, tap dancers, strolling minstrels, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and a petting zoo for children.
Among the celebrity teams expected to compete are: Soap Stars--Daniel McVicar, Brian Patrick Clark, Peter Barton, Nathan Purdee and Peter Bergman; Comedy Team--Tim Matheson, Jeff Jena, Brian Evans and Andrea Walker; Olympic Champions Team--Bob Seagren, Kathy Johnson, Henry Tillman and Andre Phillips; Former Athletes Turned Actors--Jack Scalia, Carlos Palomino and Ron Henriquez. Members of the military will compete in a special relay event.
