Video Update: There’s a question about whether footage from the video of the Rodney King beating by LAPD officers, shot by amateur cameraman George Holliday, will be used in a rap-music video, “Wanted,” which, in vulgar language, raps the police. The answer is maybe. Holliday’s publicist Jim Dobson now says Holliday will make the final decision when he sees the finished product. The video, featuring the female rap duo Bytches With Problems, is being shot in New York this weekend. So far, Dobson reports, Holliday has only seen a fax of the storyboard of the video. If Holliday doesn’t like the final video, then, Dobson said, he would withdraw his consent. Holliday’s fee, which he gets only if his footage is used, would be $1,500, not $1,000 as reported.
