Man Arrested in Bogus Tapes Case

ORANGE — A local man was arrested Thursday after police raided his residence on Sacramento Street and found more than $1.2-million worth of counterfeit tapes and reproduction equipment, authorities said.
Juan Gabriel Diaz, 33, was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing and selling the counterfeit tapes and was being held at Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,420 bail.
The raid was conducted by Santa Ana narcotics investigators, police said. No further information was available.
