TODAY
Highly recommended:
“NOUVELLE VAGUE”(France/Switzerland; Jean-Luc Godard; Nuart, noon). Godard’s latest: a romance of high finance at a Swiss estate. Working with his splendid collaborator, Anne-Marie Mieville, Godard has fashioned something precise, allusive, mournfully graceful, his most physically beautiful film since the days of “Pierrot le Fou.” A brilliant work that demands, and repays, close attention.
