Chapman Signs Cypress Guard

Brian Kenney, a 6-foot-1 guard on the Cypress College men’s basketball team, has signed a letter of intent to play for Chapman College.

Kenney, who was a first-team, all-Orange Empire Conference selection last season, finished with a 60.9% shooting percentage in two seasons at Cypress after graduating from Servite. This season he averaged 13.8 points and 3.2 assists for the Chargers, who finished 26-11 and advanced to the semifinals of the state tournament before losing to Long Beach.
