Regarding Howard Rosenberg’s column “A Parade of TV Praise for Gulf Warriors, War” (May 21):
I too was less than pleased with the fanatical coverage of our “professional” newscasters. What has happened to the respect and dignity of broadcast journalism?
And would somebody please explain to me what possible benefit impressionable young children can gain by viewing the glorification of our military’s lethal hardware? So much for promoting intelligence.
