The Rev. Wildmon and TV Boycotts

I am not on the Rev. Wildmon’s mailing list but do want to express my appreciation to writer Steve Weinstein for his informative article (“Religious Right May Be in for a Fight,” May 20). I now know to boycott Pfizer and S.C. Johnson products I generally buy.

I thank God for someone like Wildmon, who cares enough to blow the whistle on the TV programs that are helping the moral life of our citizens go down the tubes. Yes, mature people do turn off the TV. But young people who watch these programs and lack moral training in their families are easily influenced by this trash.
