Disney Withdraws From Lottery Show: Walt Disney Co. has canceled a plan to produce a half-hour game show involving state lotteries because of concerns that it might have been incorrectly seen as encouraging children to gamble, officials said. Disney and Lottery Innovations Corp. announced plans for the syndicated game show in early April. Lottery Innovations said it expects to develop the program with another distributor. In an unrelated development, Disney and Mary Costa, the voice of Sleeping Beauty in the animated film, reached an out-of-court settlement of Costa’s $2-million lawsuit claiming that she had been denied royalties from the 1986 videocassette release of the movie.
