CYPRESS — Three men were arrested here shortly after a bank robbery in Cerritos on Wednesday.
Cypress police gave no details of the robbery at Downey Savings Bank, at 11350 E. South St., but said the description of the suspects’ vehicle was broadcast at 1:30 p.m.
“Almost immediately,” a witness notified police that the car was seen entering a condominium complex on Lincoln Avenue, west of Moody Street, said Cypress Police Sgt. Ray Peterson.
Officers stopped the car as it left the complex and arrested two occupants, Peterson said. A police dog found the third suspect hiding in a garage of one of the condominiums.
Arrested on suspicion of robbery were Douglas Dean Hannam, 33, and Dale Martineau, 30, both of Lakewood, and Randal Phillip Seurin, 31, of Cypress, police said.
