GETTING OUT
I read “Getting Out” (by Bob Secter, May 19) with interest as I have just moved here from east Texas. I’ll never get used to having the majestic San Gabriel Mountains almost at my back door. I’ve joined the Norton Simon Museum and stop in to enjoy it at least once a month. The Huntington Library was overwhelming.
Obviously, I’m glad I came and hope to stay for quite a while. Crowded though it may be, I believe there’s room in the Los Angeles area for new, productive residents.
