Daly Is Given Berth in Skins Game

John Daly, surprise winner of the PGA Championship, was among four golfers named Tuesday to play in this year’s Skins Game. Curtis Strange, U.S. Open champion Payne Stewart and Jack Nicklaus also will compete in the 18-hole event, which will be held Nov. 30-Dec. 1 at La Quinta.
Strange is the defending champion, Stewart and Nicklaus were selected by a panel and Daly was the choice of the tournament sponsors for this made-for-television event.
