Bank to Double in Size After Acquisition

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The planned acquisition of Martinez-based John Muir National Bank for $9 million will advance Westamerica Bank in its goal of doubling its size in the next two years, officials announced.
Analysts estimate the value of the deal at about $9 million.
