IT’S BACK: Remember the long-term parking lot across the San Diego Freeway from John Wayne Airport? Officials closed it last July, saying travelers could now park closer to the terminal for the same price. . . . Now the remote will open again on busy days, and its shuttle buses will be reactivated, because the new $7 long-term lot directly across from the terminal often fills up, forcing some overnight travelers to use the $14 daily parking garages.
