COSTA MESA : Soviet Engineer Visits Area Colleges

A leading Soviet engineer will talk about events in his homeland today at Orange Coast College.
Alexandre P. Vladislavlev, secretary general of the Union of Scientific and Engineering Societies of the U.S.S.R., will speak in Room 214 of the chemistry building on the Costa Mesa campus from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The campus is at Fairview Road and Adams Avenue.
Vladislavlev is visiting Orange Coast, Golden West College in Huntington Beach and the Coast Community College District offices in Costa Mesa to learn about community colleges in an effort to establish a similar education network in his country.
