Myles Brown scored on a 96-yard interception return and a 42-yard pass from Daniel Sparling to lead La Jolla Country Day over Village Christian of the San Fernando Valley, 41-19.
Rashaan Salaam also got involved for LJCD (2-0), rushing 15 times for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Salaam scored a third touchdown on a 81-yard kickoff return.
In passing, Sparling was six for 12 for 124 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.
Village Christian fell to 1-1.
