Azusa Students Win Prizes at the Fair

Azusa students captured six awards in the student art competition at the Los Angeles County Fair.
Gladstone High School senior Cesar Vital won second place for his ceramics design, while Brett Leavitt, also of Gladstone, captured third-place honors for his collage.
Second-place honors went to Jean Ford’s second-grade class at Murray Elementary School for its quilt design.
Derrick Patterson (second place), Antoniette Alexander (third) and Paul Noller (honorable mention), all fourth-graders at Paramount Elementary School, were cited for their replicas of a California mission.
