2 Students Win Awards in Poster Competition

In Rowland Heights, Maritess Bartolome, a second-grader at Rorimer School, and Ricky Mendoza, a fifth-grader at La Seda Elementary School, have received awards for their work in a poster competition sponsored by the Rowland Water District.
On Sept. 10, both received plaques for their posters, which focus on water conservation.
