P&G; Biggest Ad Spender: Procter & Gamble, the consumer products giant, spent more money on national advertising last year than any other company, reports Advertising Age. The Cincinnati-based firm spent $2.28 billion in 1990, boosting its ad spending by 27% from the year before.
