Cal Poly Pomona Awards Scholarships

Paul Viveros of Glendora, Kerry Jo Corboy of Covina and Gustave Romo of Baldwin Park have been named President’s Council Scholars for 1990-91 at Cal Poly Pomona.
The award is the highest merit scholarship available to students at the university.
Viveros, from the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management, graduated from South Hills High School and attended Citrus Community College and Mt. San Antonio College.
Corboy, from the College of Arts, is a psychology/premed major. She attended St. Lucy’s Priory High School in Glendora, Mt. SAC and UC San Diego before coming to Cal Poly Pomona.
Romo, from the College of Environmental Design, is majoring in urban and regional planning. Romo attended Sierra Vista High School and Pepperdine University before coming to Cal Poly Pomona.
