The man, whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, was driving east on Rinaldi Street about 7 a.m. when a pickup traveling south on Reseda Boulevard struck the car, Los Angeles Police Officer Steve Cook said.
The victim was taken to Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, where he was pronounced dead an hour later. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries, Cook said.
