Recycled Plastic Coke Bottles Launched in L.A.: Continuing the introduction of two-liter plastic bottles of Coca-Cola Classic made with 25% recycled plastic resin and 75% “virgin” resin, Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Los Angeles said specially labeled bottles are now available in San Francisco as well as Santa Monica, Malibu, Venice and Marina del Rey, in the Los Angeles area. The bottle has already been test-marketed in parts of Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, New York, North Carolina and Massachusetts.
