NATION IN BRIEF : VERMONT : Woman Shoots 4 at Factory; 1 Killed

A female industrial engineer went on a shooting spree in a battery plant in Bennington, Vt., killing one person and wounding three others, police said. An all-points bulletin was issued for Elizabeth Teague, 30, an employee of Eveready Battery Co. Authorities said Teague set a small fire at the plant and then began shooting. Workers at the plant said the woman had walked by a number of employees and singled out managers to shoot.
