Padres Get Off-Season Off to Good Start

The Padres will probably make some trades during this off-season. They will no doubt sign a free agent. Some players will be released. Others will be promoted from the minor leagues.
However, the club will not make a better move than the one just completed in obtaining Reggie Waller as director of scouting. Reggie Waller is first-class. He is an outstanding person whose ability is unmatched. The quality of the Padres organization has just been dramatically improved.
