SOUTHERN SECTION DIVISION VI PLAYOFFS : Moore Carries Bassett Over Pacifica

LA PUENTE — Junior Graig Moore rushed for 259 yards and dominated the fourth quarter Friday night as La Puente Bassett rallied past Pacifica, 19-10, in a the first round of the Division VI playoffs at Bassett High.
Next up for Bassett is Sea View League champion Tustin.
With Bassett (7-4) trailing, 10-6, and six minutes remaining, Moore carried on 25 of 26 plays and scored touchdowns of 32 and one yards to finish off Pacifica (7-4).
Pacifica fell behind, 6-0, on a 66-yard wingback reverse by Nhao Dao, but came back on an 18-yard touchdown pass from Dan Murray to Brian Danskin (to end a four-play drive set up by a poor Bassett punt) and a 27-yard field goal by David Anderson on the last play of the first half.
