6 Students Saluted in Forensics Competition

Six Citrus College students won awards at the Pacific South Coast Forensics Assn. competition held at Los Angeles Community College.
The contests included 25 colleges. Superior ratings went to Lynette Lucas of Upland for a speech on witchery in which she threw fire into the audience; Carolyn Hayden of Glendora for poetry about being a mother, and Stephen Wilkison of San Dimas for impromptu speaking.
Excellence certificates went to Kelly Bankston of San Marino, Robert Fisher of San Dimas and Jesse Martinez Carlos of Covina.
