Ivan Lendl beat Guy Forget in the quarterfinals of the European Community tennis tournament, 6-4, 6-4. He will play Boris Becker, who beat Czech Petr Korda, 7-6, 6-2.
Unseeded Omar Camporese of Italy eliminated Pete Sampras, 6-3, 6-4. Camporese will play Aaron Krickstein, who upset Magnus Gustafsson of Sweden, 6-1, 6-4.
