COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Christ College Irvine Will Play SCC in Tournament Final

Mike West scored 24 points as Southern California College defeated Christian Heritage, 97-79, in the first round of the Christ College Irvine Tournament Friday in Irvine.
SCC will play CCI in the tournament final.
West was seven for 11 from the field and 10 for 11 on free-throw attempts. He also had team-high nine rebounds.
Mike Henjum added 18 points and Keith Randolph 15 for SCC (8-1), which is ranked 14th in the NAIA national poll. Southern California College led, 57-45, at the half.
In another Christ College Irvine tournament game:
Christ College Irvine 88, Mt. Mercy 71--Charles Lockard scored 24 points for CCI, which advanced to meet Southern California College tonight at 8:30 p.m. for the championship.
Lockard, a sophomore from Cypress College, was seven for 11 from the field and made three three-pointers. He was also seven of eight from the free-throw line.
D’Andre Brown added 22 points, including making eight of eight free-throw attempts.
