Chris Vecchione ran six yards with a recovered fumble during the first quarter for the game’s only touchdown as Youngstown State (11-3) scored a 10-0 victory over Samford (12-2) in an NCAA Division I-AA semifinal game at Youngstown, Ohio.
In the other semifinal, Marshall (10-3) was a 14-7 winner over Eastern Kentucky (12-2) at Huntington, W.Va.
Marshall will play Youngstown in the championship game Saturday at Statesboro, Ga.
