THOUSAND OAKS : City Will Annex Industrial Park

The Thousand Oaks City Council has agreed to annex a 350-acre industrial park, adding the largest business and industrial district in the area to the city’s boundaries.
In approving the annexation by a unanimous vote Tuesday night, the council ended nearly a year and a half of discussion with landowners of the Rancho Conejo Industrial Park, near Ventura Boulevard and Rancho Conejo Boulevard.
Thousand Oaks planner John Prescott said the addition of the industrial park is expected to boost the city’s area to more than 55 square miles. The district’s value has been assessed at $205.5 million.
