Two L.A. Police Officers Injured by Shotgun Fire in North Hills

Two Los Angeles police officers were hit by shotgun fire in North Hills late Friday.
“One officer was struck by a pellet in the arm and another was struck in the eye,” Officer George Maniscalco said. “They were hit with shotgun pellets.”
The shootings occurred in the 15200 block of Rayen Street near Langdon Avenue about 9 p.m., Maniscalco said.
Police cordoned off an area to search for the sniper but no arrests had been made at 9:30 p.m.
Police said no other details of the incident were known.
