SAN DIEGO — The Chargers will start rookie wide receivers Yancey Thigpen and Stanley Jefferson against the Broncos on Sunday in San Diego Jack Murphy Stadium.
Coach Dan Henning said he will take a look at Thigpen and Jefferson early in the game, but then will come in with Nate Lewis and Kitrick Taylor.
Jefferson, who was acquired from Houston for defensive end Lee Williams, has caught 12 passes for 125 yards. Thigpen, a fourth-round pick of the Chargers, is still waiting for his first NFL catch.
