Winning Formula Was Missing Key Ingredients

I appreciate Sam Jankovich’s honesty in exposing the Miami success formula (Dec. 18). However, he forgot to mention:
1. Never play tough games on successive weeks.
2. Some season (such as this one) play only two good teams.
3. Hand-pick your easiest bowl opponent, preferably playing at home in the Orange Bowl.
