Fatal Crash Brings 2nd Drunk-Driving Arrest

WYANDANCH, N.Y. — A man arrested on drunk-driving charges was arrested again the same day after his car veered across a median and collided with another. The other driver was killed, police said.
Clarence Scales, 43, who was injured in the crash, was arrested Sunday at a hospital in Long Island and charged a second time with driving while intoxicated, an officer said. Additional charges were being considered.
