Saddleback Golfers Win Despite Strong Winds

VALENCIA — Saddleback College won the team title and Saddleback’s Justin Boatman and Orange Coast’s Ken Calvert tied for the individual title at the College of the Canyons Invitational men’s golf tournament held Monday at the Valencia County Club.

Boatman and Calvert tied at four-over 76, playing in strong winds. Saddleback shot 395 as a team. Canyons (399) was second, Cuesta (400) was third, Long Beach (404) was fourth and Orange Coast (405) was fifth in the 16-team tournament.
