Holiday Help for Children
Each holiday season the Children’s Services Auxiliary and Child Abuse and Neglect (CAAN) sponsor Giving Trees at three major county shopping malls. Both CAAN and the Children’s Services Auxiliary provide services and support to children who are the victims of physical abuse, neglect, sexual molestation and family dysfunction.
This year, in spite of the downturn in our economy, the public responded generously to brighten the holidays for more than 800 children.
The holiday spirit was alive and well in Ventura County, and will linger all year long in the memories of our children.
