Beaming Up: After a 25-year mission through the television galaxy, the starship Enterprise and its crew from “Star Trek” have landed at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington for a six-month exhibition. Models of the Enterprise, plus props and costumes from the TV show and the six movies it spawned, will go on display Friday along with a 25-minute video documentary that features interviews with cast members. At a press preview Wednesday, actor William Shatner (Capt. James Kirk) called the exhibit “a special, special honor for all of us,” a sentiment echoed by Leonard Nimoy (Spock), who was also on hand. The exhibit continues until Sept. 7.
