Pro-choice Republican women in New Hampshire voted for President Bush because they believed that Buchanan will have even more repressive reproductive health policies.
The President should thank them and reassure women across this nation by stating, “Henceforth I will defend my pro-life position with the methods of health education and contraceptive services that have succeeded in reducing abortions in the developed world. I will leave the abortion repression measures that have failed in Romania and Latin America to Pat Buchanan.”
