REEL DOMINATION: The Newport Beach-based Edwards chain already has more movie screens in Orange County than all other chains combined. Today, it opens No. 300 with the Westminster 10 and plans more in Costa Mesa, Trabuco Hills, Anaheim Hills, La Habra and Brea. . . . “By spring of next year, we’ll have more than 400 screens,” President James Edwards III says. Edwards, 85, who said he’s seen radio, TV and finally VCRs predicted as the death knell for movie theaters, is unfazed. “Every house has a kitchen, but people still eat out. People still like to get out and rub elbows.”
