La Jolla Bound: The La Jolla Playhouse, widely regarded as one of the top regional theaters in the country, named a 36-year-old executive from one of the country’s most respected Off-Broadway theaters as its new managing director Tuesday. Terrence Dwyer will leave his post as managing director of the Circle Repertory Company in New York in May to become the new managing director of the Playhouse starting June 1.
