OLYMPIC AURA: Fluor Daniel employees didn’t let a steady rain stop them Tuesday from honoring one of their own: Greg Barton, a double gold medalist in kayaking at the 1988 Olympics and for six years a mechanical engineer for the Irvine-based firm. . . . Barton heads today for Seattle to train for the Olympic trials later this month. As in 1988, Fluor is selling T-shirts, hats and pins to support the U.S. canoe and kayaking team and will match employee contributions.
