Owner Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys predicted that NFL owners will table a move to return money to the three major television networks in exchange for a two-year extension. The owners will meet today to consider lowering the league rights under the current deal by $238 million, or $8.5 million per team. Ten clubs are said to oppose the move.
