TONER SCAMMERS: There’s a growing scam going down, says the Cypress-based Better Business Bureau: office-supply people who con firms into ordering their toner or paper, then bill them triple what the normal supplier does. . . . “We call them ‘Toner Phoners,’ ” says the BBB’s Lona Luckett. Office supply rip-offs are now among the top five complaints the BBB receives. If raided, Luckett says, these groups just “close their doors and open up down the street.”
