HUNTINGTON BEACH — A Fountain Valley man was in critical condition late Friday after his pickup truck swerved into a guard rail before slamming into a parked truck, police said.
Mark Michael Oxandaboure, 40, suffered major chest injuries and internal injuries in the 2:32 p.m. crash, said Lt. Jeff Cope.
Witnesses told police they saw Oxandaboure driving south on Pacific Coast Highway when he swerved and struck a guardrail on the Santa Ana River bridge. He then apparently lost control and hit a parked flatbed truck, police said.
