Oliver Stone

It’s time Oliver Stone stopped trying to “explain” “JFK” (Commentary, March 26). He sounds like the man who told a bad joke and keeps telling his audience why it’s funny.
We “get it.” It’s only a movie. The rest of the world is not obsessed with the tragic events. Nothing can change history, whether Dallas or Ford’s Theater. There’s nothing new about people in government--any country, any government--not telling everything to the people. Maybe things would be better if the world revolved according to Stone’s view, but it doesn’t and it won’t. Let it rest already. Grow up.
