Pasadena : Earth Festival Volunteers

Organizers of the third annual Arroyo Seco Earth Festival are looking for participants in an Earth Parade and volunteers to help run the daylong celebration April 18.
Event coordinators are seeking school groups, environmental organizations and businesses to join the 9 a.m. parade, which will wend its way from Old Town to Brookside Park by the Rose Bowl. A meeting for festival volunteers will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Armory Center for the Arts, 145 N. Raymond Ave., Pasadena.
Organizers also are seeking tour guides and volunteer staff for 200 exhibits in 14 “environmental villages” throughout the Arroyo Seco in western Pasadena. Deadline for parade entries is Friday. For more information about the parade or festival, contact the Arroyo Seco Council at (818) 577-9033.
