What’s more, the 30th-ranked Aztecs had won their past 11 games, 16 of their past 17 and 20 of 22. They are 27-8.

SDSU scored its three runs in the third inning. Of the Lancers’ four runs in the seventh off Aztec reliever Scott Hofstede, only one was earned. Hofstede, one of eight SDSU pitchers, fell to 4-1.
SDSU outhit Cal Baptist, 7-4.
