N.Y. Firm Acquires 25% of Astro Sciences Corp.

Astro Sciences Corp. said D.H. Blair Investment Banking Corp., a New York investment firm, acquired a stake of about 25% in the Chatsworth-based company. The price was not disclosed.
Publicly held Astro Sciences manufactures products for local area networks, or LANs, which link communications and data-processing equipment. The company’s sales in its fiscal year ended March 31 totaled $4.8 million.
Blair purchased the 1.25 million Astro Sciences shares through a private sale, the company said.
